DUNWOODY, Ga. — A Dunwoody man contacted police Jan. 3 after he realized he had become the victim of fraud.
On Dec. 31, the man found a listing for a $850 MacBook Pro on the Let Go app. He contacted the seller and arranged to have the device sent to him.
During the transaction, the seller convinced the man to provide his information and payment through a money transfer app.
After the man complied and sent the money, the seller blocked the man. He was unable to contact the seller again and did not receive the MacBook Pro.
