Dunwoody Rotary

The Dunwoody High School Band will now find it a bit easier traveling to events, thanks to a donation from the Rotary Club of Dunwoody. In the past, travel by the band to other schools and events was difficult and tedious with no official mode of transportation. Often, the band had to rent trailers to ensure instruments and equipment got to the location along with the band members. The Dunwoody Band Boosters approached Rotary for some help, asking to help fund a trailer appropriate for the band’s travel. The grant was approved and a check for $4,095 was used to provide the necessary trailer.  Devices to attach the instruments to the walls of the trailer will come soon.  Band Director Amy Caputo and the band look forward to using the trailer for years to come.
