Rev. Msgr. R. Donald Kiernan, P.A., Pastor-Emeritus of All Saints Church, is being honored at the 2012 POAG (Peace Officer Association of Georgia) Convention in Savannah on Aug. 19 for his work in law enforcement. Kiernan is a long-time chaplain of DeKalb County police, and a 2011 retiree. The convention will be dedicated in his name.

Sandy Springs mayor Eva Galambos was inducted as an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs during their luncheon on July 30.

A big crowd of well-wishers turned out for a ribbon cutting held on August 8, 2012, marking the official grand opening of Elite Chiropractic, LLC.

This new practice is located at 5817 Glenridge Drive, Suite 115, Sandy Springs.

Owner Erika E. Wolcott, is a doctor of chiropractic and a certified breastfeeding specialist.

“My dreams of owning a practice in Sandy Springs has turned into a reality! I am truly blessed to be a part of this community. I look forward to having the opportunity to serve families in the Perimeter with quality family chiropractic care.”

Dunwoody Mayor Mike Davis and Councilman Denny Shortal expressed their appreciation to Dr. Wolcott for bringing a new business to the area.

Dr. Wolcott has been active in the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce, which helped arrange the ribbon cutting. In addition to the Dunwoody Chamber, Dr. Wolcott is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Georgia Birth Network.

The practice hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Thursday, the hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The website is elitechiropracticllc.com.
