Ray and Jean Warren of Huntington Circle celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 1.

They renewed their vows on August 28 during the worship service at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church.  A reception followed for fellow church members, neighbors, and friends.  It was hosted by their son, Tony, of Juneau, Alaska, and daughter Kitt Holmes, with husband Gene and daughters Mary and Katie, all of Spalding County.

Originally from New Jersey, the couple moved to Dunwoody North in 1983.

Ray is a retired barber and former chair of both the DeKalb Republican Party and 6th Congressional District.  He also served as the President of the Dunwoody Kiwanis Club.

Jean retired eight years ago after 25 years with IBM.  Both have been active in St. Patrick’s in their 28 years as members.
