DUNWOODY, Ga. — Loss prevention personnel at Von Maur on Ashford Dunwoody Road detained a woman June 7 after she was suspected of shoplifting. A female witness notified police that the suspect had been seen selecting several items of clothing and entering the fitting room. She exited with the clothing concealed, then approached the checkout counter with other items to purchase, the witness said.

The shopper was stopped before exiting the store and the concealed items were recovered after she was taken to the loss prevention office. The suspect was transported to the Dunwoody Police Department and taken to DeKalb County Jail.
