DUNWOODY, Ga. — Police are investigating a Nov. 12 car burglary on Ashford Dunwoody Road near the Exxon. 

The owner of the car said he had parked that evening. When he returned almost two hours later, he saw that his driver’s side rear window had been shattered.

Several items were missing form the car, including two laptops, a checkbook, $600 in gift cards and tax documents.  

The owner of the car said the value of the missing items surpassed $8,500.
