DUNWOODY, Ga. — A Hephzibah, Ga., woman reported March 1 that someone had opened a fraudulent credit line at Kay Jewelers in Dunwoody using her information.

The line was opened on Feb. 29 and was used to successfully purchase about $5,000 worth of merchandise.

The woman was made aware of the fraud when he received an email about an inquiry on her credit report. Police said there had been a similar incident Feb. 28 with a different victim.
