It’s a Dog’s Life, right? And that deserves annual commemoration in the form of a birthday party.

Lucy Mason turned seven this month, and just like each of the six commemorations before that, she and owner Carol Mason invited the neighbor dogs over for a party.

Guests Stella, Gracie and Dwight Moskowitz attended the driveway party with their owner Deb Moskowitz. Each dog enjoyed their annual treat of Frosty Paws and Carol and Deb and Carol’s grandson Mason sang the commemorative song.

Nuptials in the Future? Heritage Sandy Springs will host a wedding expo at Heritage Green on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at Heritage Hall at 6110 Bluestone Rd.

Cutting back and paying forward. The Dunwoody TOPS —Take Off Pounds Sensibly— chapter sponsored a fall rally for the North Georgia region last week at the North Atlanta Church of Christ, where the chapter meets weekly.

Thirteen other TOPS chapters participated in the rally, a day to honor members’ weight loss achievements.

Each chapter donated food to be given to the Community Action Center in Sandy Springs to stock the shelves of the food pantry.

The Dunwoody TOPS chapter meets every Tuesday evening from 7-8 p.m. at 5676 Roberts Road. Anyone is welcome to attend. For more information, go to tops.org, or call Dunwoody chapter leader Debbie Gaulden at 404-281-7673.
