Eric Young, 56, died suddenly on July 15.
Eric was a life-long resident of Dunwoody and Sandy Springs and graduated from Sandy Springs High School.
He worked in wall refinishing and restoration where he had numerous clients with his company, Walls Worth More, in the Dunwoody area.
A musician in his own right, Eric enjoyed music from classical to jazz and will always be remembered as a kind and gentle spirit.
He is survived by his parents, Shirley and James Young; sister, Lisa Young King (Jonathan); brother, Michael Young (Donna); nieces, Jennifer King Rudd, Melissa King Duncan, Caroline King, Isabella Young, Christina Young.
Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel with Rev. Ralph Hale officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.

Ottila Gugger Scott, died July 13 at her home in Dunwoody.
Her husband, of 62 years, John R. Scott, was by her side when she passed.
A Mass was held at All Saints Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 17.
Tilli was born in New York City to Otto and Josephine Gugger. Her father was a physician and her mother was an assistant manager at Gimbels department store in New York City.
Although her primary focus was her family, Tilli liked to refer to herself as a people collector. She has been blessed with many friends over the years, especially her involvement in the Saint Margaret’s Circle. One of her favorite pastimes is her many summers spent with her family and friends at their summer home in Sag Harbor, N.Y.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband, and her three children – John, Pam and Candi, who all graduated from The Marist School. Mrs. Scott has eight grandchildren.
