The Dunwoody Driving Club will host its third event of the year on Sunday, September 18 in the front parking lot of the Dunwoody Tavern from 2 -5 p.m. 

All members and non-members are welcomed to display their special vehicle.  There is no entrance fee and families are welcome. 

In keeping with an Oktoberfest theme the Dunwoody Tavern will be offering brats and beer.

The Motorcars of Georgia and Dunwoody Police Explorers will hold the second annual Special Olympics Car Show September 24 at First Baptist Church Atlanta from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Produced as a fundraiser for the 23,000 Special Olympic athletes in Georgia, the event will feature a raffle and silent auction, which includes a chance to win a test drive in a Lamborghini. 

Food will be available from Village Burger. Those that register their vehicle before September 9 will receive a free t-shirt. T-shirts will also be sold at the event. 

Car show registrants are eligible to win the People’s Choice award, where the winner is voted by the attendees, The Chief’s Pick, where Chief Grogan chooses his favorite vehicle, or the Olympian’s Award, where the vehicle is chosen by the Special Olympic athletes. This year also features online registration.
