To commemorate the tenth anniversary of 9/11, the following events are being held to honor and remember those who fell and those who survived. Participation in all events is open to everyone.

“Fly the Flag,” calling all Americans to fly the American flag at home, at school and at work.

“Dunwoody Manhattan Memorial Climb,” sponsored by DeKalb County Fire Rescue to benefit Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, 8 am, Manhattan Condominiums, register at www.gfbf.org, $25.

Calvary Church, “In Remembrance” service, 10:30 a.m. 5067 Chamblee Dunwoody Road. Speakers include Dunwoody Mayor Ken Wright and Police Chief Billy Grogan

Apostles Church of Sandy Springs, “9-11: A Day of Remembrance and Hope,” interfaith service with the Georgia State University Brass Quintet, 12:30 pm, 6025 Glenridge Drive, 404-255-8668.
