DUNWOODY, Ga. — Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More, a garment decorating store opened a new location at 1402 B Dunwoody Village Parkway on Jan. 8.
Big Frog of Dunwoody is owned and operated by local resident Tracey Carothers. After 20 years in the tech industry as an executive, Carothers decided it to make a drastic career change through joining Big Frog.
“I am beyond excited for this new venture to bring Big Frog to our community,” Carothers said. “Big Frog’s team has been immensely supportive and invested, yet appropriately hands-off, a great balance for someone like me making a career change.”
Carothers plans to use her location to promote sustainability by using green technology. The new business venture also brings Carothers, a cancer survivor who is navigating life with a chronic illness, the ability be a more active member of the Dunwoody community at her own pace.
“My experiences with my health taught me to live in the moment and keep moving forward despite challenges faced,” she said. “This new venture will allow me the chance to do ‘happy work’ by providing my community with the ability to create their own, unique apparel.”
Big Frog combines creativity with cutting-edge technology. The brand’s direct to garment printing bonds the dye to the fabric’s molecules allowing products to be washed in both hot and cold water and with color-safe bleaching without risking damage, crack or peeling to the image.
“Tracey is a perfect fit for our Big Frog family, and we are looking forward to having her on board during such a pivotal time in our growth as we enter the new decade,” company President Tina Bacon-DeFrece said.
Since opening its first franchised location in 2009, Big Frog has grown exponentially as it opened its 100th location in December 2019.
Big Frog of Dunwoody is open Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information call 770-624-2600 or visit bigfrog.com\dunwoody.
